Heleen Vriesendorp,Born in Ottawa, Canada on July 29, 1951.He began his art studies in 1965, in the Creative Arts Program at Fishe Park High School. Philip continued his Art studies as a graphic design student at Sheridan College in Oakville Ontario. He became a television graphic/set designer in 1971 for the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation and in 1975 won the position of Art Director for the CBC.
However, his love for the creation of vivid, vital paintings, which generated a very enthusiastic response, lead him to around 1985 resign from his corporate job and pursue his talents in the Fine Arts. His work is represented in corporate and private collections throughout North America and Europe. In October of 1991, Philip was pleased to present Her Royal Highness, The Princess of Wales, with an original work entitled, "Constance Creek". Today, Philip resides in Ottawa, Canada with his family.
